Addiction
A continuous involvement in an action or a behavior despite the adverse consequences in all the areas of our life such as physical, mental, relationship, finance , job health, social and spiritual. Addiction is nothing but an obsession and compulsion towards an action or behavior.
Addiction is a disorder of the brain's reward system which arise through transcriptional and epigenetic mechanisms and occurs over time from chronically highlevels of exposure to an addictive stimulus (e.g., morphine, cocaine, sexual intercourse, gambling, etc.)
In the year 1956 WHO recognized addiction as a disease with the definition stating that A” physical craving mingled with mental obsession leads to a spiritual bankruptcy.”.

We recognize that every person entering treatment has different needs, our treatment plans are individualized for each patient. Utilizing a 12 Step philosophy, the bio psychosocial model of treatment includes nursing and medical care, individual and group counseling, a family program, and a focus on diet, nutrition and physical fitness.
